Hola, Cancun! JetBlue Launches Nonstop Service to Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula

       New York's Hometown Airline Offers $59(a) Introductory Fare

       Now Flying to Eight Exciting Caribbean/Atlantic Destinations

NEW YORK, Nov. 30, 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) today begins new nonstop service between Cancun, located on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula, and its home base at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The low-fare carrier is currently offering a $59(a) sale fare each way. Regular one-way fares between New York and Cancun will range from $129 to $349 each way when booked at or by calling 1-800-JETBLUE or 800-861-3372 if calling from Mexico.

The special $59 sale fare is available for purchase through December 15, 2006. Fares are valid for travel to New York/JFK from Cancun through December 8, 2006 and between December 13-15, 2006. Fares are valid for travel to Cancun from JFK between December 4-5, 2006 and between December 11-13, 2006.

With the addition of Cancun, JetBlue now offers service to eight exciting Caribbean/Atlantic destinations: Aruba; Cancun, Mexico; Nassau, The Bahamas; Bermuda; San Juan, Ponce, Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and Santiago, in the Dominican Republic.

Service to Cancun will be operated with JetBlue's A320 fleet. Members of JetBlue's customer loyalty program, TrueBlue, will receive six points per flight, with double points awarded for purchasing online at Customers can earn TrueBlue points even faster by using the JetBlue Card from American Express. Every time cardholders purchase JetBlue travel with the Card, or earn at least one TrueBlue point through other purchases using the Card, all TrueBlue points in the member's account automatically extend for another 12 months.
