JetBlue Airways Reports September Traffic

NEW YORK, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq: JBLU) reported today that its traffic in September increased 9.8 percent compared to September 2008, on a capacity increase of 8.6 percent.

Load factor for September 2009 was 77.6 percent, an increase of 0.9 points from September 2008. JetBlue's preliminary completion factor was 99.9 percent and its on-time (1) performance was 88.7 percent. JetBlue's preliminary passenger revenue per available seat mile for the month of September decreased nine percent year over year.
